
Faye's Life
Faye's life begins in Fayette Alabama in the community of Samantha.
Born April 8, 1940 and raised in a small community surrounded by family & friends. She excelled at Gorgas High School and was active in many endeavors. She was a devoted mother to nine children, grandchildren, neices and nephews and left a legacy to two great grand-daughters.
Her life story is honored and will always always be remembered.
We miss and love her every passing day.

Eula Faye Price
NORTHPORT | Eula Faye Price, age 75, of Northport, Ala., passed peacefully on November 21, 2015, among family and friends at West Alabama Hospice after a brief illness.
Faye was born and grew up in the community of Samantha in Fayette, Ala. She was the loving daughter of Opal Lee Simmons Jones. She is survived by a sister, Ludie M. Holmes of Northport, Ala.; and a brother, Claridge Jones of Pleasant Grove, Birmingham. She attended Gorgas High School where she was President of her Senior Class. She excelled and was active in many academic endeavors.
Faye went on to marry and was the beloved mother to nine children. Daughter's Ramell Price Brown of Marietta, Ga., Teresa Johnson (Darrell) of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Simone Price Tidmore (Sidney) of Northport, Ala. and Summer Price of Tuscaloosa, Ala. Son's, Jon Price (Tina) of Northport, Ala., Jorge Price (Penny) of Louisville, Colo., Alex Price of Orange Beach, Ala., Patrick Price of Santa Barbara, Calif. and Mellwynn Morrow Price II, Tuscaloosa, Ala., deceased 1991.
Faye was fondly known as Nana and blessed with grandchildren, Stephen Brown, Justin Brown of Marietta, Ga., Ashley Johnson Haydu (Scott), Jeremy Price, Lindsay Price, Marlee Price, Ryan Price, Chase Price of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Cameron Melvin, Bailey Melvin of Northport, Ala. Faye also leaves a legacy to great-grandchildren, Anabelle Haydu, Stella Rose Haydu of Tuscaloosa, Ala. She loved all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren more than life and will be dearly missed among them.
Faye Price was respected and well-known among the community of Northport with her business Faye's Floral. She attended floral classes at Auburn University. She spent over 35 years growing beautiful flowers. Faye was a talented and professional florist creating arrangements for all occasions among her clients. She had a beautiful eye for nature. Faye also was an advocate for many local interests in her community. She was passionate about truth, justice and had a voice many knew and will always remember.
Faye was a dear friend to animals raising Miniature Dachshund's and Yorkie Terriers for animal lovers. Faye had many talents and gifts she shared with so many people throughout her life here with us. Her unfailing generosity, love and devotion to her family, friends and to the community will be sadly missed and never forgotten. Faye always had great wisdom and humor. She had a great smile.
Faye was a remarkable woman and expressed great interest in medicine and research. She will be donating her body to UAB in Birmingham, Ala., where she may continue to help others after her passing.
